How Lifeline Healing Began

✨ My Introduction to Mother Mary✨

Lifeline Healing didn’t begin with a business plan or a marketing idea. It began in 2012, with a paintbrush, a mural, and a divine encounter that would change my life forever.

In April 2012, I hired artist Andréa Good to paint a mural in my Lexington home. I didn’t know exactly why only that I felt a deep, unshakable pull to do it. While the painting was underway, my father passed away. The day he made his transition, he came to my apartment, yes, came—and spoke to both me and Andréa about the meaning of the mural. That moment cracked something open in me.

On August 25, 2012, we unveiled the finished work. I took pictures and video, thinking the story was complete.

It wasn’t.

On November 14, 2012, the day after a solar eclipse, my friend Donovan stopped by to give me a ride to pick up my car. I felt a sudden prompting to invite him in to see the mural. As we stood in my living room, he froze mid-sentence, his voice full of awe:

“Oh my God… Cindy… that’s MOTHER MARY in your mural! Look right there!”

I turned on the dining room light, and there she was clear, luminous, and undeniable in the moon of the mural. She had not been there before.

The investigator in me jumped into action, pulling up old photos. The difference was obvious: the moon had transformed. Where once there had been nothing, now Mother Mary stood with baby Jesus, an angel beside her. My own apparition, right in my home.

Mother Mary became my teacher, speaking straight to my heart. I’ve shared more about this profound connection in My Teacher Mother Mary.

The day Mother Mary appeared in this mural was the day Lifeline Healing was born a calling to help others heal, grow, and find peace.

💫 The Call to Remember 💫

Over the following months, I spent countless 12-hour days sitting in front of that mural in meditation. Mother Mary became my teacher, speaking straight to my heart. I’ve shared more about this profound connection in My Teacher Mother Mary.

Her first words to me were:

✨ “You’re a healer. You’ve always been a healer. Your job is to remember who you are.”

It wasn’t instant—it was a process of peeling back layers, letting go of old definitions, and embracing the truth of my calling. After months of learning at her hands, I made an agreement with her:

“Okay, I’ll do the healing work.”

But growing up in the Mormon Church, I’d never seen healers get paid for their services. I was skeptical, so I added with a nervous laugh:

“I just don’t want to be homeless.”

She must have smiled, because not only have I never been homeless, but her guidance became the foundation of my work. One of the most valuable lessons I carry with me is shared in The Gift of This Moment.

From Mural to Lifeline Healing

When I eventually moved from that apartment, I had to have the mural painted over. Letting it go was quite the process—there were tears, resistance, and more than a few moments where I questioned if I was doing the right thing.

But over time, I realized something important: the mural wasn’t just on my wall anymore. It was in me. The images, the lessons, the presence of Mother Mary—they had all become part of my very being. The mural was completely integrated into my heart, my work, and my life.

Some people have even recognized the entire mural in a tattoo on my right arm—one I’d had done a full decade before the mural was painted. I sometimes think of it as her way of showing me she’d been with me all along, just waiting for the right time to step forward.

While moving, I saw Hermes in the leaf of this plant — a powerful past-life connection that continues to guide my healing work

This wasn’t just another night out with friends, it was a moment layered with quiet spiritual signs.

At first glance, it’s a joyful photo of people I love. But look closer: wings appear behind me, illuminated as if placed there on purpose, a symbol of guidance and protection. Then, in the front of the image, there’s a soft glowing orb, a classic sign in spiritual photography that an unseen presence is nearby.

An orb in front, wings behind a rare moment where spirit showed up in more than one way, reminding me that we are always surrounded by guidance.

To me, the wings and the orb appearing together was no accident. It felt like a reminder that I’m surrounded by support, both seen and unseen, and that my work with Lifeline Healing is never done alone. Spirit always finds a way to show up, sometimes even in a simple photograph.
